The difference between intention and action

How often have you felt motivated, full of good intentions, yet struggled to turn them into concrete action?

The gap between intention and action is more common than we think. According to a Harvard Business Review study, 70% of New Year’s resolutions fail not due to lack of desire, but because it’s hard to translate intention into habit.

This is where I come in. This technique isn’t just about language or positive thinking; it’s about modeling internal patterns and behaviors so our intentions truly translate into action.

How I can help:

  1. Mind-Body Connection: Often we know what we want, but our body or subconscious isn’t aligned. We can use techniques such as anchoring, visualization, and internal language to create congruence between intention and behavior.

  2. Reframing Limiting Beliefs: Beliefs like “I’m not capable” or “it’s not the right time” can block action. Some techniques help identify and reframe these beliefs in a practical way.

  3. Intentional Micro Steps: Turning intention into action doesn’t mean making huge changes immediately. I can support you to create small daily steps, reinforcing success and gradually building confidence.

The result? A cycle of intention, action, and positive reinforcement that allows not only goal achievement but also a reconnection with your own capacity to act.

In the end, the difference between intention and action isn’t motivation—it’s the ability to create internal systems that move us consistently. And I have a powerful tool for that.
